In the early 2010s, the founding members of what would become Thinkbreak Records went to a show at Reggie’s Rock Club in Chicago to see Professor Kliq perform. Enthusiastically recognizing similar musical inclinations, and after surviving an L ride from Chinatown where a Warriors style gang fight occurred, royb0t, _the boundless_, and Professor Kliq decided to collaborate. The trio’s first experiments cycled unfinished track ideas to the next artist to build, remix, and reshape. These initial sketches were never fully realized as a release yet collaboration would continue over the years.
The COVID-19 pandemic was a catalyst to instill the desire to creatively connect. The result is the album Everything Is Fine.
