ARTIST BIO
annu is a music producer with a deep love for exploring new methods of expression and art through science and technology. Combining these passions, she works with astronauts to research and test new musical instruments, such as her MI.MU music gloves, for use in the microgravity environment of space. Inspired by the profound shift in consciousness experienced by astronauts who see our planet from space, her live performances are multimedia experiences that lift audiences to space for a new perspective. annu is the moniker of MaryLiz Bender who co-produces with collaborator Nick_Jones (_the boundless_). She spent the last decade as a recording artist with her bands, Twin Limb, Kwieta, and supported Jim James' "Eternally Even" tour as part of his backing band.
